Three cases of carcinoma in the male breast in Chonnam University Hospital were reported in view of it’s rarity and a review of the related literatures was made.
The one, aged 44, with chief compliant of bean-sized, non tender mass on the retro-areolar portion of the right breast, beginning with a above same sized mass one week ago, was undergone radical mastetomy with axillary dissection. The microscopic diagnosis was adenocarcinoma without any metastasis.
The other one, aged 68, with chief complaint of serosanguineous discharge from the left nipple, beginning about 10 months ago, was not undergone because of his refusal, but for Papanicolaou smear only. The cytologic finding was class IV.
The another one, aged 40, with chief complaints of an egg-sized tender mass on the upper lateral aspect of the left breast and palpable masses on the left axillary region, beginning with a walnut-sized mass on the left breast four months ago, was undergone radical mastectomy with axillary dissection. The microscopic diagnosis was carcinoma simplex and metastatic nodes in the left axilla.
